Alpha Private Equity signs an agreement to sell Feu Vert to Bassac
ALPHA PRIVATE EQUITY SIGNS AN AGREEMENT TO SELL FEU VERT TO BASSAC
LUXEMBOURG / FRANCE, DECEMBER 19, 2025 – Alpha Private Equity, a leading pan-European private equity firm, today announced that it has entered into an exclusivity agreement to sell its controlling stake in Feu Vert, a leading automotive maintenance and after-sales services retailer, to Bassac. The transaction remains subject to customary works council consultations and to clearance from the French and Spanish competition authorities.
Founded in 1972 and backed by Alpha Private Equity since 2016, Feu Vert has established itself as a leading automotive services platform in Europe. The Group operates a network of 466 centres across France, Spain and Portugal. In fiscal year 2024-2025, Feu Vert generated approximately €663 million in revenue.
Since its investment in 2016, Alpha Private Equity has actively supported Feu Vert’s transformation, focusing on governance strengthening, network expansion and service quality enhancement. During this period, the Group expanded its footprint in Spain and Portugal, acquired more than 20 centres from franchisees, and rolled out modernised, digitally enhanced store formats. The effort also included key management additions and Alpha’s support for the reorganization and streamlining of headquarters operations and human resources practices, notably strengthening Iberia leadership and marketing/digital capabilities. Feu Vert also broadened its offering through maintenance subscription models, EV and hybrid vehicle services, while accelerating digital sales and B2B fleet solutions.
